Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey the father of her (who died in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka hails from Belarus and was born on May 5, 1998. She holds 12 WTA titles in her career. This includes that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles player, she's an excellent player. She's been a winner of two Majors with Elise Mertens. They won the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. Alongside her fellow Belgian tennis star, she also won an award called the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019 thus making an appearance in the Sunshine Double. The feat only four pairs of women's doubles to pull off. In January 2023, she reached her highest ranking in singles. On 23rd August 2021, she climbed to number two in world rankings. After winning the Melbourne doubles event in February 2021 She was able rise up the rankings and take over the top spot in that specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach throughout 2018, up until the season ended in the year 2019. He also coached her for a short time at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was also her short-term coach between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has coached her since the year 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, followed by Maria Sharapova.
